What Empleya does · App purpose & Google data use

AI digital employees that serve your customers over WhatsApp.

Empleya is a software (SaaS) service for small businesses. It deploys six AI digital employees that serve the business’s customers over WhatsApp: they answer questions, follow up with leads, and book appointments. The business owner configures and supervises them from their dashboard.

Google Calendar integration

If the business owner authorizes it, Empleya connects to their Google Calendar. We request two limited permissions (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.freebusy) and use them exclusively for two things:

  • 1. Read busy time blocks from the calendar, to know which slots are free and never book over another commitment.
  • 2. Create an event on the calendar when a new appointment is booked.

We do not read the content of existing events. We do not modify or delete events we did not create. We do not use Google data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models. The owner can revoke access at any time from their Google account.
